Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, Agile delivery, and wealth management platforms and a proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear, consumable requirements and maintain traceability through the SDLC.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements across front-, middle-, and back-office processes, including proposals, portfolio management, billing, reporting, and advisor workflows.
- Translate business problem statements into clear, consumable requirements for technology teams.
- Perform current-state versus future-state gap analysis to prevent regression of advisor or client capabilities on the Envestnet platform, with clear documentation of current and future states.
- Own and maintain requirements throughout the SDLC, ensuring alignment and traceability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Core BA competency with proven experience in gap analysis, business requirements documentation, and process flow creation.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills with a self-starter mindset to handle ambiguity.
- Expertise in the wealth domain with knowledge of related products or systems.
- Agile experience, including managing user stories and backlogs in Jira.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with wealth management platforms such as Pershing (NetX, NetXInvestor), FIS (Global Plus, Global Office), MoneyGuidePro, eMoney, or Envestnet.
- SQL proficiency for reading and writing queries and performing data mapping.
- Experience with BigQuery.
- Experience with Miro or Draw.io for process modeling.
- Experience with Confluence for documentation.
