Project OverviewThe
InvestNet program at KeyBank is a multi-year wealth-management modernization initiative focused on enhancing, stabilizing, and expanding Key's use of the
Envestnet wealth management platform. The program is designed to deliver a more unified and modern advisor experience across financial planning, portfolio management, analytics, billing, and client reporting.
KeyBank is entering
Phase 2 of the InvestNet wealth platform integration and is staffing additional Business Analysts to support expanded scope, data conversion efforts, and digital advisor experience enhancements.

- Capitalize on increased executive visibility and funding for wealth technology
- Support Phase 2 delivery of the InvestNet platform integration through strong requirements ownership and documentation
Why KeyBank Needs This RoleThis phase of the program includes a
platform conversion, new digital capabilities, and enhancements to advisor workflows. Business Analysts will be responsible for gathering requirements
from scratch, spanning data, digital, and advisor experience needs.
The project is expected to last
at least one year, with the initial contract structured as a six-month block. If execution is strong, additional funding and extensions are highly likely. While the target is to hit the ground running in January, there is a possibility the contract may be signed earlier.
Note: No candidates can be formally engaged until the contract is fully signed.
Key Responsibilities- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements across front-to-back office wealth processes, including proposals, portfolio management, billing, reporting, and advisor workflows
- Translate high-level business problems into clear, actionable requirements for technology and delivery teams
- Perform current-state vs. future-state gap analysis, ensuring no critical advisor or client capabilities regress during the InvestNet migration
- Clearly document current and future state workflows, processes, and system interactions
- Own and manage requirements throughout the full SDLC, from discovery through delivery
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to drive clarity and alignment
- Support Agile delivery by creating and managing user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
Must-Have SkillsStrong core Business Analyst experience, including gap analysis, requirements documentation, and process flow creationProven ability to operate in ambiguity, multitask effectively, and proactively solve problemsWealth management domain expertise, with familiarity across wealth products, platforms, or advisor-facing systemsExperience working in Agile environments, including hands-on use of tools such as JiraExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technology teamsNice-to-Have Skills- Experience with wealth platforms or products such as:
