Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Core Skill Set (Must Have) SQL Expertise (VERY strong)
- Complex joins, window functions
- Query optimization
- Distributed Data Systems
- Understanding of how query engines work
- Performance tuning
- Starburst / Trino Specific Skills
- Experience with:
- Starburst Enterprise
- Trino / Presto
- Query federation across sources
- Connector usage (S3, Hive, Snowflake, etc.)
