The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary and strategic financial leader to spearhead fiscal operations at a premier manufacturing center. As the site’s senior financial authority, you will directly influence operational efficiency, long-term profitability, and organizational advancement. Operating at the intersection of production excellence and rigorous fiscal governance, this pivotal role serves as the premier financial co-pilot to executive site leadership.

You will champion the integrity of all plant analytics, lead high-stakes corporate forecasting, and optimize commercial outcomes for sophisticated, long-term industrial contracts.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner strategically with the General Manager and operational leadership to formulate business decisions that optimize plant profitability and realize overarching corporate milestones.

  • Mentor and elevate the site''s financial and accounting group, providing executive oversight across general ledger management, cost structures, inventory valuations, and corporate reporting.

  • Execute sophisticated revenue recognition methodologies, specifically overseeing Percentage-of-Completion ($POC$) accounting systems, monthly ledger adjustments, account balance verification, and comprehensive margin analysis for long-term government and marine projects.

  • Orchestrate the complete lifecycle of annual budgeting, forward-looking forecasting, and capital allocation strategies to ensure maximum return on investment and healthy cash flow.

  • Accelerate the monthly closing sequence to guarantee rapid, precise financial reporting that aligns flawlessly with regulatory guidelines and corporate mandates.

  • Architect and reinforce an ironclad internal controls matrix encompassing the profit and loss statement, balance sheet optimization, and asset protection.

  • Analyze operational cost trends, product margins, and variance reports to deliver high-impact diagnostic insights that correct inefficiencies and propel business growth.

  • Manage all regulatory and independent reviews, serving as the primary liaison for internal audits, external financial assessments, and strict statutory compliance verification.

  • Formulate annual manufacturing burden rates and standard cost architectures to refine plant-wide pricing precision and operational transparency.

  • Govern site-wide inventory verification programs, driving accuracy via modernized cycle-counting protocols and leading the annual physical inventory operations.

  • Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and complex commercial agreements through meticulous business-case modeling to mitigate risk and empower corporate negotiations.

What You Bring

  • Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly relevant business discipline. Advanced credentials such as a CPA or CMA are highly favored.

  • Industry Expertise: At least 8 to 10+ years of progressive advancement within corporate financial roles, specifically rooted inside a high-volume manufacturing or heavy industrial production environment.

  • Technical Accounting Depth: Comprehensive command of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley ($SOX$) protocols, and standard cost accounting frameworks.

  • Contracting Sophistication: Proven familiarity with revenue recognition principles for long-term deliverables, with deep practical exposure to Percentage-of-Completion ($POC$) and regulatory compliance standards typical of complex contract ecosystems.

  • Systems Fluency: Power-user capability with enterprise-grade ERP architecture and tier-one corporate performance management platforms (exposure to modern forecasting tools and industrial resource software is highly advantageous).

  • Leadership Presence: Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of acting as a collaborative business partner to non-financial operational leaders.
