Summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project Manager/Business Analyst - Regulatory & Cash Management for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in lower Manhattan, NYC. Hybrid Role - 2 day/office per week (Wed and Thu).

This individual will play a key role in a high-visibility regulatory initiative focused on Cash Management and Deposits. The role requires a hands-on delivery lead who can operate across both project management and business analysis functions while interfacing directly with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities :
  • Own end-to-end delivery of project plans including scope, timelines, milestones, and budget tracking
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document requirements
  • Drive execution across project lifecycle including design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, business users, and vendors
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and issue resolution. Leading end to end testing will be the KEY responsibility.
  • Prepare and present updates, risks, and cost-benefit analyses to senior leadership and steering committees
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, SDLC, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, highly visible environment
  • 70% - Project Management & 30% Business Analyst
  • Agile delivery

Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in enterprise environments
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with senior stakeholders / executives
  • 5+ years of experience performing Business Analyst responsibilities (requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder engagement)
  • Hands-on experience with UAT / testing coordination
  • Strong proficiency with MS Project and project tracking tools
  • Proven ability to deliver initiatives under tight timelines and competing priorities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills (executive-facing)
  • Previous Financial Industry experience
  • Agile

Preferred Skills:
  • Prior Capital Markets Knowledge - HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Prior experience with Wire Payments and Deposits / Cash Management
