US Treasury Business Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a US Treasury Business Analyst for a contract placement assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in lower Manhattan, NYC. Hybrid schedule 1x onsite weekly

This role is to primarily support a materially important regulatory change within the US Treasury trading landscape. The SEC have finalized a rule to mandate the central clearing of certain US Treasury activity. As a Primary Dealer, the client has stood up a project to ensure compliance with the rule. This position will assist the Securities Settlements team, as a stakeholder in the bank's overarching US Treasury Clearing project.

Responsibilities :

• Attending project meetings
• Helping gather and document project requirements
• Assisting in test case design
• Assisting in IST and UAT
• Working with stakeholders from operations, the business lines, compliance and legal, and our project governance team
• Potentially attending industry sessions/updates
• Project implementation
• Liaison with vendor 'Broadridge' and depositories

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• 2+ years of experience with Fed Eligible Settlements
• 2+ years of experience with IMPACT, ADP, and/or BNY Treasury Edge
• 3+ years of experience with Fixed income industry initiative
• Be able to work in a fast paced and group-oriented environment

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in settlements operational related project (testing/managing)
• Previous experience with impact application
