Geographic Information System (GIS) Test Lead Onsite (1)
Columbus, Ohio 43215 (Onsite-5 days a week)
10 years of overall testing experience with 5+ years as Test Lead
Strong experience testing GIS applications in Utilities (Electric, Gas, Water) domain
Prior onsite client-facing experience in the US (mandatory)
GIS data models, layers, map services, feature services
Lead test planning, estimation, and release sign-offs for GIS upgrades, migrations (ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro), cloud enablement, and modernization initiatives
Partner with business users, GIS architects, developers, and vendors to align test scope with business goals
Test Management: JIRA, HP ALM / Octane, Azure DevOps
Understanding of API testing (ESRI REST), database validation, Python/ArcPy (good to have)
Provide regular status reporting, risk assessment, and KPI/SLA tracking to client leadership
Test strategy & governance - GIS test strategy covering Functional testing, Regression testing, Data validation, Test Automation, Performance and non-functional testing
Define automation approach using UFT, Eggplant Functional, Selenium / Playwright, API testing, and data validation frameworks
Promote GenAI-assisted test design, script creation, and maintenance
Excellent communication, presentation, & stakeholder management, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
