Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on driving technical leadership, enabling the team, and delivering high-quality solutions using Umbraco and other technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on development skills and a passion for creating accessible and reliable software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, ensuring best practices are followed in architecture and implementation.
Establish standards for workflows, patterns, and structure in Umbraco and related technologies.
Mentor team members with web experience to build expertise in Umbraco and .NET.
Develop clear and practical documentation to support the team's independence after the initial phase.
Create foundational components such as content types, templates, and navigation patterns within Umbraco.
Lead and support migration strategies from Kentico, including content mapping and movement approaches.
Implement and integrate essential tools like analytics, tag management, and maps.
Ensure accessibility is embedded into components and templates, including semantic coding, keyboard support, and form patterns.
Define acceptance criteria and testing protocols for accessibility, leveraging both automated and manual methods.
Requirements
Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET for building robust applications.
Strong experience with JavaScript for developing dynamic web interfaces.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Umbraco CMS.
Familiarity with Kentico and migration processes.
Ability to lead and mentor teams with varying levels of expertise.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices in web development.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Experience integrating tools such as analytics and tag management systems.
