Summary

The AI Business Intelligence Analyst will support business intelligence, reporting, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives across Lanco. The role encompasses managing the organization's reporting footprint, maintaining existing Power BI reports, building new dashboards, and leveraging business analytics and KPIs to drive operational excellence.
While Power BI remains a core focus, the analyst is not limited to a single platform, new reports and dashboards will be built using the best tool for business needs. AI integration is expected throughout, improving speed, accuracy, analysis, documentation, and reporting workflows.

What you will do:

  • Maintain, support, and improve existing Power BI reports and dashboards across Lanco, including facilitating an audit of the current reporting footprint to identify report owners, data sources, usage, duplicates, and opportunities for consolidation or cleanup.
  • Evaluate new report requests against existing reports before building new ones; where new development is needed, build reports, dashboards, and analytics tools using Power BI or other approved tools based on business need.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand, access, and connect the data sources needed for report and dashboard development.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, business problems, and KPIs, translating those inputs into useful dashboards, reports, or AI-supported solutions.
  • Use business analytics and KPIs to identify operational issues, trends, and operational excellence opportunities; follow through with diligence to ensure stakeholders are using metrics and KPIs to make operational and procedural change decisions.
  • Help stakeholders use data to determine what operational actions or procedural changes should happen next.
  • Support data governance by maintaining trusted data sources, enforcing report standards, reducing duplication, and supporting consistent KPI definitions across the organization.
  • Incorporate AI where possible to improve reporting, data analysis, summaries, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Create documentation, user guides, and training materials for reports, dashboards, and AI-supported workflows.
  • Partner with MIS, PMO and business departments to support digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives

Do You have?

  • Ability to understand business processes and translate business needs into reports, dashboards, or analytics solutions
  • Ability to analyze data and explain insights clearly to business users.
  • Understanding of KPIs, business analytics, and operational reporting.
  • Ability to work with MIS team members to understand and connect data from multiple systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders after delivery to understand report usage, business impact, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to question requests, identify existing solutions, and avoid unnecessary duplicate reports.
  • Interest or experience using AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, documentation, or workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to document requirements, processes, reports, and solutions clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assigned work.
