Role Overview
Sesheng LLC is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Platform Architect specializing in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Enterprise Architecture (EA). You will join a high-impact team at a premier consulting firm to lead the end-to-end implementation of a brand-new ServiceNow instance for their global end client.
This is a technical leadership role requiring a deep understanding of ServiceNow modules, architectural best practices, and the ability to guide stakeholders through a fresh deployment.
Key Responsibilities
• Architectural Leadership: Lead the technical design and configuration of a "new instance" install, ensuring the platform is scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the end client''s business goals.
• Module Implementation: Drive the hands-on deployment of the SPM (formerly ITBM) and EA modules, including Demand Management, Project Portfolio, Resource Management, and Application Portfolio Management (APM).
• Collaboration: Act as the primary technical liaison between the consulting firm and the end client’s internal teams to ensure seamless integration and workflow optimization.
• Best Practices: Enforce "Out-of-the-Box" (OOTB) functionality wherever possible, minimizing technical debt during the initial setup phase.
• Governance: Define the architectural roadmap for Enterprise Architecture within the platform to ensure data integrity and cross-module visibility.
Required Qualifications
• Certification (Mandatory): Must hold an active ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Enterprise Architecture (CIS-EA).
• Platform Expertise: Proven experience with at least one full-lifecycle ServiceNow "green-field" implementation.
• Module Mastery: Extensive experience configuring and architecting the SPM and EA suites.
• Consulting Mindset: Ability to navigate the complexities of a three-way partnership (Contractor -> Consulting Firm -> End Client).
• Technical Breadth: Strong understanding of ServiceNow’s Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and how it informs EA and SPM structures.
Preferred Skills
• CIS certifications in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) or Application Portfolio Management (APM).
• Experience with ServiceNow’s latest Tokyo/Utah/Vancouver/Washington releases.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into executive-level updates.
