Role: IBM Sterling(File Transfer Support Analyst)
Location: Remote (EST)

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitoring & Triage FT: Monitor File Transmissions Process queues, statistics, and session health (PNODE/SNODE) on Windows/Linux; watch for stalls, retry storms, checkpoint loops, Secure+ handshakes.
Manage Incident, Request & Change Execution: Manage incidents in ServiceNow; capture logs (B2Bi, C:D statistics, Secure+ events), RCA breadcrumbs, and mitigation timelines.
Operational Health & Prevention: Daily checks: certificate/PGP expiry watch, Secure+ policy status, listener ports, disk capacity, catalog health, and C:D checkpoint/restart anomalies.
Access & Governance Support: Submit and track RBAC-aligned access for File Transmissions (B2Bi/C:D); maintain quarterly access-review artifacts.
Knowledge & Communication: Maintain runbooks/Create and Maintain KB: common File
Transmissions error codes (session negotiation, cert/chain, netmap mismatch), rerun procedures, and partner-specific quirks.
