Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled engineer to manage and support enterprise identity and security infrastructure. This role involves a blend of operations and development, focusing on the administration, troubleshooting, and automation of on-premise Active Directory, certificate services, and federation services. The position requires a candidate with experience in large enterprise environments who can handle both operational duties and development tasks related to infrastructure migration and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Active Directory (AD), including domain controllers, replication, and security hardening.
- Manage Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Support Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and integration with identity providers.
- Configure and manage Hardware Security Modules (HSM) for cryptographic key management.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell for operational efficiency.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure in AWS using Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Design and enforce Group Policies (GPO) for security and compliance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical identity and security services.
- Collaborate with development, business, project management, and infrastructure teams within an agile framework.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Experience in large enterprise companies is highly preferred due to the scale of operations. The role requires a balance of operations experience with development skills in PowerShell and Terraform.
Technical Skills:- Experience with Active Directory (AD), Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Group Policy Objects (GPO) and policy troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Hardware Security Module (HSM) configuration and cryptographic key management.
- Cloud experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other scripting languages, such as BASH.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
- Experience with Quest tools such as Change Auditor, RMAD, or GPOAdmin.
Work Environment
This position requires working onsite five days a week. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation approximately every six to eight weeks. The on-call shift is for one week, from Monday to Sunday, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
