Software Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Software Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to support a high-traffic e-commerce platform by ensuring system reliability, performance, and operational excellence. This role combines strong infrastructure expertise with application development skills, focusing on production support, observability, and continuous improvement within a cloud-based environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and support cloud infrastructure, DevOps tools, networking, and system operations Monitor and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and incident management Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve application-level issues Develop and enhance solutions to improve observability, performance, and system reliability Participate in Agile teams and contribute to operational and development initiatives Support deployment activities including monitoring and participation in release decision processes Maintain and improve dashboards, monitoring tools, and alerting mechanisms Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as required Share knowledge and collaborate with team members to improve system performance and processes Required Qualifications Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and DevOps practices Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments Strong development experience with C#/.NET and web-based applications Experience with production support and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, Sumo Logic, or similar Strong understanding of site reliability engineering principles Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting high-traffic or e-commerce platforms Experience improving observability and performance through automation and monitoring tools Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Education: Bachelors Degree
