Role Overview
We are seeking a Trainer to prepare, conduct, and evaluate technical training programs. This role involves writing and developing training literature, designing exercises, and delivering both on-site and web-based training for various software solutions. The successful candidate will manage training programs to meet business needs and regulatory requirements, ensuring all materials are clear, accessible, and effective for both technical and non-technical personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement technical training curricula, materials, and programs.
- Deliver on-site and web-based training courses for various software and IT solutions.
- Create and maintain training materials, including course outlines, instructional guides, and multimedia aids.
- Develop alternative teaching techniques to enhance learning engagement.
- Assist in designing computer-based and multimedia curriculum, including eLearning modules.
- Gather, analyze, and translate technical information into clear, readable materials.
- Manage the training program in accordance with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with developments in the computer training field and recommend new methods for instruction.
- Conduct test analysis and develop or revise test items as needed.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 8 or more years of experience designing, developing, and implementing training curricula.
- Minimum 5 years of experience conducting classes on software operating procedures, IT security, system installation, and operational support.
- Experience with web-based learning management systems and eLearning authoring tools.
Technical Skills:- Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A high degree of aptitude and flexibility to deliver training on a myriad of software products.
- Experience with tools such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, Rise, and other eLearning authoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivering technical training in cloud-based technology is a plus.
- A basic understanding of EIR Accessibility and assistive technologies.
