Description We are seeking an experienced Email Designer to support a high-visibility digital channel responsible for delivering large-scale email campaigns to a broad audience. This is a production-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys working within established systems while bringing strong visual judgment and attention to detail to every send.
Role: Production Designer
Location: Remote, Pacific time hours
Duration: 3 months to start, possibility to extend
Hours per week: 40
Design + Technical Skills- Strong design background (email-specific design preferred).
- Understanding of HTML for email, especially modifying tables-based layouts.
- Experience building hero images, including GIF creation and selecting/optimizing content.
- Ability to apply gradients, optimize image readability, and ensure strong visual hierarchy.
- Solid understanding of ADA compliance in email design.
- Strong attention to detail given low margin for error.
Workflow + Production- Comfortable in a production-heavy environment.
- Ability to handle high volume and iterate quickly.
- Ability to work with many stakeholders reviewing content.
Tools + Platforms- Familiarity with or ability to learn Knak (drag-and-drop email builder).
- Ability to work with or learn internal tooling/documentation.
Requirements Strong experience with email design and design production
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop required)
Working knowledge of HTML for email, including modifying existing table-based templates
Ability to navigate and edit pre-existing code without building from scratch
Strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and understanding of layout best practices
Background in print or digital design beyond email
Familiarity with accessibility standards and ADA considerations
