Job description:
Client is seeking a Workday HCM Technical Lead, who will interface with key stakeholders and apply Workday HCM domain and technical proficiency including requirements elicitation, design, build and deployment of solutions for supporting customer s Workday HCM application. As a Technical Lead, you will be involved leading support activities related to Workday application maintenance, transition, validating requirements with product offerings, and working with relevant stakeholders for product customization requests. You will play an important role in creating the design document for new and enhancement of integrations, working with HR leads, corporate and business unit teams and third parties, in support of the Workday HCM application. Required Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
- Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Location for this position is Raleigh, NC, Indianapolis, IN, Phoenix AZ, Richardson TX or Hartford CT. This position may require relocation and/or travel to client/project location
- Overall 2+ years of relevant experience in implementation, roll out, upgrade and support projects related to Workday HCM Applications
- Proficient in implementing IT/business solutions in Workday HCM building integrations, reports, customization of business process utilizing native Workday tools.
- Proficient in running reports to detect changes in the system from time to time
- Proficient in performance tuning of reports and Integration codes
- Strong hands-on experience in Workday technologies - Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Advanced Report Writer, Cloud Connect (PICOF, PECI, CCW, CCB), Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, Custom fields, XML/XSLT, Studio, BIRT reporting and data analytics
- Able to translate business requirements to technical solutions.
- Experience in Workday production support, including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws. Recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives.
- Experience in troubleshooting data issues / corrections, Workday reporting and analytics and security configs and changes
- Develop and document technical specifications, develop test conditions, conduct acceptance testing, and implement solutions. Help troubleshoot issues and processes, and aggressively drive toward resolutions.
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC and support lifecycle including experience in testing process across the project phases.
- Candidate should be proficient in all the delivered HCM processes and reports, suggest best practices.
