Software Development Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Development Manager in Orange Park, FL.

Responsibilities:
* Work in an agile development environment leading multiple cross-functional teams of software engineers in new product development and maintenance activities, including serving as the Scrum Master on one or more Scrum teams
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work closely with team members to remove impediments
* Work with product management and project management to drive the Agile process, including release and sprint cycles, to ensure high quality releases delivered on schedule
* Assist Director with iterative improvements of software deployment processes to improve frequency and quality of releases
* Work with product management and engineering leadership to determine priorities and create technical solutions
* Manage performance of team members through goal setting and measurement, coaching, recognition, and feedback through regular check-ins and formal performance reviews
* Lead the continuous improvement of software development and test processes through collaboration with peers and architects, including architectural reviews, security and compliance reviews, code reviews, and the delivery pipeline

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
* 10 years of experience as a software developer after receiving degree
* Technical leadership responsibilities as a team lead or at a comparable level
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in our current stack: C#, Angular 2+, SQL Server

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
