Our client is a global leader in their industry undergoing a large-scale enterprise infrastructure and digital transformation. With strong executive sponsorship, the organization is modernizing its cloud, network, and platform environments and is seeking a senior-level Program Manager who can operate confidently within highly technical infrastructure initiatives.
We are seeking an Enterprise Program Manager of Infrastructure with a hands-on technical foundation in infrastructure engineering. This individual will lead complex, cross-functional programs while partnering closely with engineering teams, architecture, and executive leadership.
This is not a purely functional PM role - we are looking for someone who understands infrastructure at a systems level and can drive delivery across cloud, data center, network, and platform initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of enterprise-scale infrastructure programs, including cloud migrations, data center transformations, and platform integrations
- Translate business objectives into technically executable programs, working closely with infrastructure engineers, architects, and SRE teams
- Build and manage program roadmaps, dependencies, and execution plans across multiple technical workstreams
- Drive alignment across engineering, security, networking, and application teams to ensure scalable and resilient solutions
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, system dependencies, and operational impacts
- Provide clear, concise updates to executive leadership, bridging the gap between technical execution and business outcomes
- Manage vendor engagements and SOWs, particularly within infrastructure and cloud services
- Contribute to the maturity of the PMO, specifically around delivery standards for technical programs
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise Program/Project Management within infrastructure environments
- Prior hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, network engineering, or similar
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure concepts (cloud platforms, networking, servers, storage, virtualization, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead large, complex infrastructure initiatives across distributed teams
- Experience working in enterprise environments with legacy + modern hybrid infrastructure
- Ability to engage credibly with engineers and architects (this is key not just coordination)
- Experience with vendor management and large-scale implementations
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies in technical environments
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Started career in infrastructure engineering (sys admin, network, cloud, etc.)
- Transitioned into program/project leadership
- Comfortable going deep technically when needed, but operates at a program/enterprise level
- Has worked in large, complex organizations (Fortune 500 / global environments)
