Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager (Level 3) to support Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) initiatives for a leading renewable energy organization. The role involves independently managing a portfolio of solar projects through early development stages, ensuring technical feasibility, financial viability, regulatory compliance, and readiness for construction handover.

The ideal candidate will combine strong project management expertise with financial analysis, technical awareness, and stakeholder engagement skills to drive successful project outcomes in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage a portfolio of early-stage solar projects from development through construction handoff
Evaluate technical, financial, and commercial aspects of projects to ensure viability and alignment with business goals
Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
Develop and maintain capital budgets and manage variances across multiple projects
Coordinate with engineering, permitting, procurement, and subject matter experts to resolve project issues
Support development and permitting activities, including regulatory and community engagement
Create and manage project schedules, construction readiness plans, and contract negotiations
Engage with executive leadership, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders
Utilize project management and reporting tools to track progress, risks, and key performance indicators
Contribute to process improvement, tools, and training initiatives within the Early-Stage team

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
11 15 years of project management experience
Strong financial and data analysis skills
Experience managing complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder projects
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in construction, energy, or solar industry
Exposure to engineering or mechanical systems
Experience working with capital projects or infrastructure development
Familiarity with regulatory and permitting processes
