Job Description
We are seeking a Project Management Consultant (Level 1 Associate) to support early-stage solar projects within the Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with one of the largest renewable construction companies in the world and gain hands-on experience in solar project development and management.
The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager and will be responsible for supporting early-stage project development activities including screening, diligencing, and pipeline management prior to transitioning projects to late-stage project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned solar projects and manage them through early-stage processes including screening, diligencing, and pipeline development.
- Ensure projects are technically feasible, financially viable, and commercially supported while maintaining schedule alignment.
- Analyze technical and financial project data to identify key variables, indicators, and trends.
- Support the development and management of project capital budgets.
- Assist with development and permitting activities while coordinating with internal subject matter experts.
- Facilitate engineering coordination, problem resolution, and project planning activities.
- Support construction planning, scheduling, and project optimization opportunities.
- Assist with negotiation and execution of commercial contracts.
- Utilize various project management and data systems to manage deliverables and track project progress.
- Communicate project updates and collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Provide support for team organization, data reporting, and project documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0 5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or related roles.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
