Job Description

We are seeking a Project Management Consultant (Level 1 Associate) to support early-stage solar projects within the Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with one of the largest renewable construction companies in the world and gain hands-on experience in solar project development and management.

The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager and will be responsible for supporting early-stage project development activities including screening, diligencing, and pipeline management prior to transitioning projects to late-stage project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned solar projects and manage them through early-stage processes including screening, diligencing, and pipeline development.
  • Ensure projects are technically feasible, financially viable, and commercially supported while maintaining schedule alignment.
  • Analyze technical and financial project data to identify key variables, indicators, and trends.
  • Support the development and management of project capital budgets.
  • Assist with development and permitting activities while coordinating with internal subject matter experts.
  • Facilitate engineering coordination, problem resolution, and project planning activities.
  • Support construction planning, scheduling, and project optimization opportunities.
  • Assist with negotiation and execution of commercial contracts.
  • Utilize various project management and data systems to manage deliverables and track project progress.
  • Communicate project updates and collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide support for team organization, data reporting, and project documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0 5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong financial analysis and data analysis skills.
  • Interest in technical and mechanical concepts.
  • Experience or exposure to construction, energy, or solar industry projects.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career path in project management.
