RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is looking for an IT Office/Operations Manager in the Miami area.
Summary:
This role is fully on-site and reports into HR. The IT Office/Operations Manager will take full ownership of day-to-day office operations, facilities, and front-office functions while ensuring a professional, secure, and well-run workplace environment. This position goes beyond traditional reception duties and requires a proactive individual who can manage facilities, vendors, security processes, and office operations while serving as the face of the office for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily office operations and facilities management for a large on-site workforce
* Serve as the primary point of contact for office, facilities, and operational needs
* Greet visitors, manage sign-in processes, and maintain a professional front-desk presence
* Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers (cleaning, maintenance, coffee service, etc.)
* Partner with IT and security teams on office access, security protocols, and tracking visitors
* Coordinate office moves, furniture orders, repairs, and space assignments
* Maintain conference rooms, common areas, and office supplies
* Support on-site meetings, events, and executive needs
* Manage incoming/outgoing mail, shipping, and equipment distribution
* Develop and maintain emergency procedures and respond as needed
* Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, organized, and compliant
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of office operations, facilities, or building management experience
* Strong ownership mentality with the ability to work independently and take initiative
* Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service agreements
* Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Professional communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Experience working in a multi-cultural or global organization is a plus
* Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
* Must be comfortable working on-site daily
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
