Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to oversee the planning and execution of technical projects that align with client goals and organizational strategies. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and exceptional communication skills to ensure successful project delivery. Based in Germantown, Wisconsin, this position offers the opportunity to work on diverse initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of a variety of technical and infrastructure projects.
Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines to ensure clear expectations and successful outcomes.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide financial forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate internal resources and external vendors to maintain alignment and efficiency.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation across platforms such as AutoTask, IT Glue, and SharePoint.
Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and clients.
Facilitate meetings, including project kickoffs, status updates, and closeout reviews, to ensure alignment and transparency.
Identify risks, manage scope changes, and resolve issues proactively to minimize disruptions.
Assemble and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration across engineering, service desk, and account management functions.
Track project performance metrics, prepare reports, and contribute to operational planning sessions.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT project management, including planning and execution of technical initiatives.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and PMP certification is highly preferred.
Proficiency in tools such as Atlassian Jira and other project management software.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing budgets, timelines, and documentation.
Effective communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating resources across departments.
Familiarity with platforms like AutoTask, IT Glue, and SharePoint for documentation and reporting purposes.
