Azure Cloud Solution Architect Cloud Platform, Terraform & Infrastructure Architecture - 68706
We have an immediate need for an Azure Cloud Solution Architect for a fulltime onsite opportunity in Chicago, IL. This role is focused on enterprise cloud platform architecture, infrastructure modernization, and cloud operations leadership across large-scale Azure and AWS environments. We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Platform Architect who has hands-on experience designing and managing end-to-end cloud platforms with strong expertise in cloud networking, infrastructure automation, and enterprise governance frameworks.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and managing enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure and AWS platforms while driving modernization and operational excellence initiatives. The role involves building scalable cloud platforms, implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and enabling developer self-service provisioning through programmable infrastructure interfaces. Candidates will work closely with engineering, operations, security, and governance teams to support DevSecOps initiatives, cloud automation, monitoring integration, and operational optimization. Responsibilities also include integrating enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Dynatrace, and Flexera while supporting immutable infrastructure strategies, auto-scaling architectures, release management, cost optimization, and cloud governance frameworks. The selected professional will lead cloud operations projects, ensure SLA-driven delivery, and contribute to enterprise infrastructure transformation initiatives in highly dynamic cloud-native environments.
Required skill sets include strong expertise in Azure Cloud Architecture, Azure Infrastructure, AWS cloud platforms, Terraform, cloud networking, and Infrastructure as Code practices. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Flexera, DevSecOps methodologies, ITSM frameworks, governance models, and scalable cloud operations. Strong understanding of immutable infrastructure, release strategies, automation, monitoring, performance optimization, and cloud cost management is highly preferred. Experience architecting highly available and secure cloud environments along with leadership capabilities in cloud transformation initiatives is essential for this role. Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and ITIL Foundation will be an added advantage.
