Principal Network Engineer Cisco ACI, SD-WAN & Enterprise Network Architecture - 68707
We have an urgent need for a Principal Network Engineer for a fulltime onsite opportunity in Tulsa, OK. This role is focused on enterprise network architecture, cloud connectivity, SD-WAN operations, and advanced infrastructure engineering within highly regulated environments. We are actively looking for strong candidates with active networking certifications who can lead large-scale enterprise networking initiatives and support mission-critical infrastructure environments.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise network infrastructures with strong focus on Cisco ACI, routing and switching, SD-WAN, security integration, and hybrid cloud connectivity. The role involves leading network architecture initiatives, supporting high-availability enterprise environments, and collaborating with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to optimize network performance and resilience. Candidates will work extensively with Cisco technologies, Aruba and Meraki solutions, F5 load balancing platforms, AAA services, and cloud-integrated enterprise networking environments. Responsibilities also include managing BGP peering, dynamic routing protocols, route redistribution, Internet edge architecture, DDoS mitigation strategies, network diagnostics, and advanced troubleshooting activities using enterprise monitoring and packet analysis tools. The selected professional will contribute to automation initiatives using infrastructure-as-code principles and support Zero Trust and Purdue Model network architecture strategies across enterprise and IT/OT environments.
Required skill sets include strong expertise in Cisco ACI, enterprise routing and switching, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SD-WAN, Aruba, Meraki, and F5 load balancing technologies. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with AAA services including RADIUS and TACACS+, Cisco ISE, Azure AD integrations, hybrid cloud networking, and enterprise security architecture. Strong understanding of Ethernet technologies including VLANs, VXLAN, and high-speed connectivity environments along with core services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and IPAM platforms like Infoblox is essential. Experience using diagnostic and monitoring tools such as Wireshark, LiveAction, and Cisco Stealthwatch is highly preferred. Knowledge of automation technologies including Python, Ansible, and Terraform along with expertise in Zero Trust and Purdue Model best practices will be an added advantage.
