Full Stack Developer Java, Spring Boot & Cloud (Azure) - 67179

We have an immediate opportunity for a Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-scale applications in a hosted production environment. This role involves close collaboration with business leaders, analysts, project managers, architects, and technical leads to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. The consultant will contribute across the full Software Development Life Cycle while ensuring alignment with long-term enterprise growth and architectural standards.
To be successful in this position, one needs to have strong experience maintaining and enhancing enterprise services using domain-driven design and test-driven development practices. The consultant will troubleshoot and debug complex issues, create detailed technical specifications and estimates, and research and implement new technologies to improve performance, security, and operational efficiency. Hands-on expertise with Java Spring Boot, RESTful web services, Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure cloud environments is essential, along with experience working with databases and persistence frameworks such as PostgreSQL, Data Lake, ADX, Databricks, and ORM technologies, including query performance tuning.
This role also requires full stack capabilities, including front-end technologies such as Angular, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, and Thymeleaf, as well as experience with messaging and streaming frameworks like Apache Kafka. Strong DevOps exposure is required, including build and deployment tools such as Gradle, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, and GitHub Actions, along with familiarity with broader DevOps toolchains including GitHub, Dynatrace, Grafana, Fluentbit, Apache NiFi, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. The consultant should have a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD practices, security vulnerability management, Linux/Unix scripting, and disaster recovery processes. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with at least 3 years of SDLC experience; a Master's degree, 5+ years of SDLC experience, and airline industry background are considered strong pluses. Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotations is required.
