Qualifications

  • Bachelor''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 7+ years of software development experience (or 5+ years with a Master''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s degree)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Go; familiarity with Java or similar modern languages is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, operators, controllers, and custom resources
  • Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms and infrastructure management patterns
  • Experience with edge networking technologies, SDN, and distributed network architectures
  • Understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and service mesh technologies for edge deployments
  • Experience with edge infrastructure provisioning, local cluster management, and edge-to-cloud connectivity
  • Strong architectural and design skills for distributed systems and microservices
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native development
  • Experience with virtual machine usage and integration within software solutions
  • Understanding of security best practices in edge computing and distributed network environments
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
  • Proficiency with Go testing ecosystem, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines for edge deployments
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and optimization (MongoDB experience preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Linux-based environments and command-line tools
  • Experience with modern IDEs (such as Cursor or GoLand)
  • Track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence technical direction and drive architectural consensus
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD) preferred
