We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with in-depth experience in Zuora RevPro and Zuora Billing to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in subscription billing, revenue recognition, and financial systems. As a BA, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, define solutions, and support the implementation of Zuora’s Billing and Revenue Recognition systems. Your role will involve analyzing complex financial data, gathering requirements, and supporting the optimization of the billing and revenue processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for Zuora RevPro and Billing implementations.
- Analyze current billing and revenue recognition processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, including process flows, user stories, and data mappings.
2. Zuora RevPro Expertise:
- Lead the configuration of Zuora Billing and RevPro to meet business requirements.
- Provide in-depth functional knowledge of Zuora Billing (subscription management, invoicing, payments) and RevPro (revenue recognition, compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15).
- Ensure proper integration of Zuora with other systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, and financial reporting systems).
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in billing and revenue recognition systems.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Zuora RevPro.
- Strong knowledge of Zuora Billing, including subscription management, invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
- Deep understanding of Zuora RevPro with practical experience in revenue recognition and compliance standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
- Proficiency in business process modeling and tools like Visio, JIRA, or similar platforms for project tracking and management.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex business processes into technical requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with finance and technical teams.
- Relevant certifications in Zuora Billing, RevPro, or other billing/revenue recognition platforms are a plus.
