Summary

Description

We are looking for a Content Systems Manager to support content architecture, taxonomy, and system integration efforts for a long-term contract opportunity in Woodland Hills, California. This role works across product, engineering, and vendor teams to help ensure content structures are accurately defined, implemented, and maintained for reliable downstream use. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and comfortable translating business needs into clear execution plans while keeping multiple priorities moving forward.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate with internal technology teams and external partners to rank priorities, manage backlog items, and drive delivery of the most valuable content system enhancements.
Gather input from business stakeholders and convert operational needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with brand, technical, and performance expectations.
Support enterprise content architecture and automation initiatives by helping shape scalable content models, taxonomy frameworks, and structured data approaches.
Monitor content ingestion processes to promote accurate imports, resolve data quality issues, and assist with manual entry or cleanup activities when needed.
Partner with cross-functional teams on content audits, documentation, and governance efforts to improve consistency and long-term usability of content assets.
Provide first-level troubleshooting support for business users, identify root causes of system or workflow issues, and engage technical teams for deeper resolution when required.
Create and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, and related reference materials that help technical and non-technical stakeholders stay aligned.
Contribute to ongoing improvements that reduce operational inefficiencies, strengthen content management practices, and support steady release progress.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience in digital product management, publishing, marketing communications, or a similar field.
Experience in project coordination, product management, or digital content systems within a fast-paced business environment.
Working knowledge of content management platforms, relational databases, and structured content ecosystems; experience with Adobe Experience Manager or headless CMS tools is an advantage.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and project or issue tracking platforms such as Jira, Trello, Planner, or Microsoft Project.
Ability to produce clear technical documentation, including process maps, annotated layouts, and workflow references for cross-functional teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical groups.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities with consistency and sound judgment.
