Role Overview
The main function of an Enterprise Architect is to establish system information requirements through the analysis of information for the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. This role has a strong emphasis on business architecture to ensure IT strategies are tightly aligned with business objectives, capabilities, and transformation initiatives. The position requires working in the office from Monday to Thursday, with a hybrid option for Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Design architecture, including software, hardware, and communications, to support total requirements and provide for present and future cross-functional needs.
- Ensure systems are compatible and compliant with standards for IT architectures and profiles of standards.
- Guarantee the common operating environment is compliant, evaluating and correcting issues in workflows, organization, and planning.
- Develop and maintain business architecture frameworks, models, and roadmaps to support business transformation and strategic goals.
- Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.
- Drive technical planning and solutions for a software portfolio, including authoring software designs and managing vendor evaluations.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates should be familiar with the TOGAF framework.
Technical Skills:- Experience with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) tool Ardoq.
- Expertise in business architecture, including capability modeling, process architecture, and value streams.
- Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring on software engineering and design.
Preferred Qualifications
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) certification is ideally held.
- An MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.
