Overview


We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong database development and data platform experience to support enterprise initiatives focused on technology controls automation, database modernization, and analytics enablement.

This role will contribute to large-scale database migration and modernization efforts, working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments, while helping deliver analytics solutions and operational dashboards using Power BI. The engineer will collaborate across data engineering, risk, governance, and application teams to build secure, scalable, and auditable solutions.

Key Responsibilities


< data-start="1108" data-end="1143">Technology Controls Automation


  • Design and implement automated technology and data controls within application, database, and reporting layers.


  • Develop control monitoring, validation, and audit evidence capabilities to support compliance and risk management.


  • Integrate controls into CI/CD pipelines, data workflows, and operational dashboards to reduce manual processes.


< data-start="1502" data-end="1554">Database Migration, Development & Modernization


  • Support database and application migration initiatives including legacy platform modernization to cloud or hybrid environments.


  • Design and optimize schemas, stored procedures, views, and ETL/ELT pipelines across Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server platforms.


  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and parity checks during migrations to ensure data integrity.


  • Assist with cutover planning, operational readiness, and post-migration stabilization.


< data-start="2033" data-end="2070">Analytics & Reporting Enablement


  • Develop and maintain data models and reporting dashboards using Power BI.


  • Translate technical and business requirements into actionable reporting and analytics solutions.


  • Deliver dashboards that provide visibility into operational performance, controls effectiveness, and business insights.


< data-start="2381" data-end="2433">AI & Machine Learning Enablement (Nice to Have)


  • Support the operationalization of machine learning outputs within enterprise data platforms.


  • Build feature tables, scoring pipelines, and governed data products.


  • Integrate Python or R models, or cloud ML services, into enterprise data workflows.


  • Deliver predictive and insight-driven dashboards (forecasting, anomaly detection) with appropriate governance and monitoring.


Required Qualifications




  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience.


  • Strong experience with SQL development using Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.


  • Experience supporting database migration, schema refactoring, and data validation.


  • Experience building Power BI dashboards and data models.


  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.


  • Understanding of SDLC, enterprise data management practices, and compliance standards.


Preferred Qualifications




  • Experience working in regulated environments with technology risk or control automation.


  • Experience modernizing legacy data or application platforms.


  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration within data platforms.


  • Experience integrating Python or R models into analytics workflows.
