Job Summary:-
We are seeking a motivated Java Developer to join our development team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development, application design, and software development practices. Although the position is titled Junior Java Developer, candidates with 8–10 years of professional Java development experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
- Troubleshoot application issues and resolve software defects.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and other development teams.
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Perform unit testing and support integration and system testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Support application deployment and production issue resolution.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, and multithreading.
- Experience with Spring/Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
