- Expertise with cloud monitoring and incident tools: Datadog (or Splunk), PagerDuty, and ServiceNow.

Role OverviewWe're seeking an experienced Incident Manager to lead incident response for our evolving cloud-based environment as we transition from legacy systems to modern platforms. This role requires strong technical insight, effective communication, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as Incident Commander for major incidents, driving rapid resolution and coordinating technical teams.
- Triage and escalate incidents based on severity, SLAs, and ITIL best practices.
- Monitor cloud systems (primarily Google Cloud Platform) using Datadog and native tools; interpret alerts and manage response across application, network, and infrastructure layers.
- Use PagerDuty for alerting and escalation; maintain on-call and escalation policies.
- Manage incident workflows and automation in ServiceNow.
- Support resilience testing, failover exercises, and reliability initiatives.
- Assist with migration efforts from legacy to cloud-native systems.
- Communicate incident status and post-incident reports to technical teams, stakeholders, and executives.
- Improve runbooks, workflows, and integration across monitoring, alerting, collaboration, and ITSM tools.
- Contribute to automation projects, including Slack workflows and AI-based tooling.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
