The Opportunity This is a hybrid position requiring residency in Northeast Ohio. As a Senior DBA, you will be the architect of data integrity, responsible for the full lifecycle of production databases-from design and installation to advanced performance tuning and security. You will ensure high availability for business-critical applications while implementing industry-best practices for data protection.
Your Impact
Design & Optimize: Plan, install, and performance-tune SQL Server environments to ensure peak efficiency.
Govern & Secure: Develop and oversee database policies that guarantee data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Problem Solve: Serve as the technical lead for hands-on troubleshooting and database stabilization.
Project Leadership: Manage complex database projects, utilizing flowcharting techniques and project management methodologies to meet organizational goals.
What You Bring
Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in database administration.
Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on expertise in designing, building, and configuring SQL Server environments.
Strategic Thinking: A strong grasp of database structures, theories, and principles.
Privacy Knowledge: Familiarity with applicable data privacy laws and security best practices.
Communication: The ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable project plans.
