Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Forward Deployment Engineer to work closely with Supply Chain customers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deploy, customize, and scale technology solutions. This role serves as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring successful solution delivery, optimization, and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with customers and business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Deploy, configure, customize, and optimize solutions within customer environments.
Design and implement robust architectures that meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive continuous performance improvements.
Collaborate with product management, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements and innovative solutions.
Leverage AI/GenAI technologies, automation frameworks, and data-driven approaches to solve business problems.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best-practice guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the solution lifecycle, from discovery through deployment and optimization.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Engineering, Technical Consulting, or a related field.
Strong hands-on programming experience with Python and software development best practices.
Experience designing and implementing scalable system architectures.
Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI technologies, automation solutions, and business process optimization.
Strong data engineering experience, including SQL and Snowflake.
Proven experience working directly with customers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, or Operations domains.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data architectures.
Experience deploying enterprise-scale solutions in customer-facing environments.
Knowledge of workflow automation and integration technologies.
