Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Onsite - 4 Days)
Employment Type: 6+ month Assignment with possibility of extension or fulltime conversion.
Rate Range: $55 - $60/hour W2
Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing complex data to provide insights and actionable recommendations regarding information security. This role involves ensuring that security standards are met, mitigating risks, and supporting the company's information security infrastructure in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze complex data to provide insights, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
- Provide direction and guidance on reports and analyses, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Recommend courses of action to mitigate risk and ensure appropriate standards are met.
- Escalate higher-risk change activity for risk treatment.
- Identify operational roadblocks to ensure timely remediation and countermeasures.
- Work closely with members of Information Security and other organizations.
- Contribute to the achievement of area objectives.
- Consult with other IT areas and business units to provide professional support for the company's information security infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience: Experience in GRC with information security or related technology is required. Strong experience with business intelligence data analysis and reporting platforms is also necessary.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with platforms such as SQL, DB2, Power BI, Business Objects, Qlik, Tableau, and Excel/PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of logical and physical database design is also needed.
Professional Attributes: The ideal candidate will be a data-lead individual who can collate automated and self-identified risk findings. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential. The role requires a self-motivated team player with good time management, independent thinking, and decision-making capabilities. A conceptual understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
- An advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
