We have an immediate need with one of our esteemed state clients for a Senior Help Desk Specialist. This position is on-site in Baltimore Maryland. Local candidates only.

The Senior Help Desk Specialist will:

  • Provide IT software, hardware installation, maintenance, and support services.
  • Resolve software installation issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Support end users both onsite and remotely.
  • Provide telephone and online troubleshooting.
  • Perform hardware configuration management, testing, upgrades, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
  • Use ticketing systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or equivalent to track and resolve issues.
  • Provide desk-side support including troubleshooting and replacing equipment.
  • Apply diagnostic techniques, investigate problems, and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain clear documentation of tickets and resolutions.
  • Assist with inventory management of IT assets.
  • Collect and report statistics on system issues, maintenance calls, and incidents.
  • Provide daily and weekly status reports.
  • Adhere to security, change control, and PMO processes.
  • Work overtime, weekends, holidays, or off-hours as needed.
