Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer
- Build and maintain Medallion Data Architecture patterns for bronze, silver, and gold layers
- Develop ETL processes using Python, PySpark, and SQL with performance optimization
- Manage data orchestration workflows with Cloud Composer (Airflow)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure data handling with Google Cloud Platform IAM
- Optimize BigQuery queries through partitioning, clustering, and performance tuning
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform and modern data architecture
- Expertise in BigQuery (partitioning, clustering, query optimization)
- Proven experience implementing Medallion Data Architecture
- Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Dataflow and Cloud Composer (Airflow)
- Experience with Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Git, and CI/CD practices
- Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform IAM and cloud security best practices
