Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer
- Implement Medallion Data Architecture patterns for scalable data solutions
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Optimize BigQuery performance through partitioning, clustering, and query tuning
- Manage data storage, security, and orchestration in Google Cloud Storage and Airflow
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver modern data architecture solutions
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform and modern data architecture
- Expertise in BigQuery (partitioning, clustering, query optimization)
- Proven experience implementing Medallion Data Architecture
- Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark
- Advanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Dataflow and Cloud Composer (Airflow)
- Experience with Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Git, Google Cloud Platform IAM, and cloud security best practices
