Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer
- Implement Medallion Data Architecture patterns for scalable data solutions
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Optimize BigQuery performance through partitioning, clustering, and query tuning
- Manage data orchestration workflows with Cloud Composer (Airflow)
- Ensure data security and compliance using Google Cloud Platform IAM best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) expertise
- BigQuery (partitioning, clustering, query optimization)
- Medallion Data Architecture implementation
- Python and PySpark programming
- Advanced SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning)
- Cloud Dataflow and Cloud Composer (Airflow)
- Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
- Git, CI/CD practices
- Google Cloud Platform IAM and cloud security best practices
