Role: Account Director IT Services (Media & Entertainment Domain)

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Account Director with deep expertise in IT Services Sales within the Media & Entertainment industry, combined with strong exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI solution selling.
The ideal candidate brings a hunter mindset, strong media domain credibility, and proven success in driving new business and expanding large strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth
- Own and grow assigned media accounts with a focus on long term value creation
- Drive upsell, cross sell, and new opportunity identification
- Manage multi million dollar media centric IT services portfolios
- Build deep relationships with business, product, technology, and C suite stakeholders
New Business Acquisition (Media Focused)
- Drive new logo acquisition across Broadcast, OTT, Publishing, Sports, Advertising, Digital Media, and Entertainment
- Execute strong outbound sales outreach with a hunter approach
- Utilize existing industry relationships to accelerate deal cycles
- Maintain a strong, qualified sales pipeline aligned with vertical goals
AI/ML & Generative AI Solution Selling
Lead client conversations around AI use cases such as:
- Content automation
- Metadata enrichment
- Personalization & recommendations
- Ad optimization
- Measurement & attribution
- Audience intelligence
Translate media business challenges into scalable, AI enabled digital solutions.
Collaborate with solutioning teams to develop differentiated proposals.
GTM Strategy & Industry Engagement
- Co-own GTM initiatives for the media vertical
- Position services across Cloud, Data, AI, Digital Engineering, OTT, Ad Tech, and Media Ops
- Represent the organization at forums, events, and executive discussions
Delivery Governance & Commercial Ownership
- Ensure strong governance of engagements in partnership with delivery leaders
- Oversee SLAs, risks, delivery quality, and customer satisfaction
- Lead commercials, contracts, renewals, and forecasting
- Apply strong negotiation and business judgment to support profitability
Internal Collaboration
- Lead RFP/RFI responses and proposal creation
- Work closely with architects, delivery teams, and practice leaders
- Contribute to reusable frameworks, case studies, and industry focused sales assets
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years in IT Services Sales or Account Management
- Strong Media & Entertainment domain exposure
- Experience selling AI/ML or Generative AI solutions
- Proven success managing and growing large strategic accounts
- Deep understanding of media workflows, industry trends, and digital transformation
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presence
- Experience working with global delivery teams
