Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Systems Administrator. This role is well suited for someone who can interpret technical information carefully, investigate open issues methodically, and partner with internal stakeholders to move work to completion. The position centers on system administration, documentation, compliance-related review, and analysis of data movement across connected platforms.
Responsibilities:
Review system-related items in detail, assess outstanding work, and define the actions required to bring tasks to completion.
Investigate and resolve technical issues within system environments, with a focus on controls, configurations, and data movement across system boundaries.
Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements, confirm findings, and drive remediation efforts through completion.
Execute PowerShell scripts to collect system information, validate configurations, and support troubleshooting activities.
Create clear technical documentation that captures findings, actions taken, system behavior, and recommended next steps.
Analyze implemented changes and existing configurations to identify gaps, risks, or areas requiring corrective action.
Support administrative activities across Windows-based infrastructure, directory services, messaging platforms, and related enterprise systems.
Requirements
Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments in an enterprise setting.
Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory administration.
Working familiarity with Microsoft Exchange and related user or system support tasks.
Ability to write and maintain accurate technical documentation for systems, processes, and issue resolution.
Experience supporting compliance-focused reviews, remediation efforts, or audit-related technical work.
Proficiency with PowerShell for information gathering, validation, or basic automation tasks.
Strong analytical reading comprehension with the ability to interpret technical material and translate it into actionable work.
