Summary

We are looking for a high-level healthcare Data analyst to transform complex datasets into a structured, interactive Power BI dashboard. The primary focus is building a solution to identify, cluster, and remediate duplicate patient encounters to improve data quality and operational efficiency.

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Must be able to pick up equipment IN PERSON in Richmond, VA).

Location: Richmond, VA

Interview Process: Web Cam or In-Person

Schedule: Flexible (Full-time or Part-time 20 hrs/week available)

Key Responsibilities

Data Transformation: Turn large Excel extracts into high-performing Power BI data models.
Dashboard Development: Create visualizations for duplicate patterns, encounter groupings, and risk-level indicators.
Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with clinical and data governance teams.
Process Automation: Implement automated refresh logic and validation checks.
Documentation: Deliver a full data dictionary and conduct a knowledge-transfer session for internal staff.

Top Required Skills

Advanced Power BI & Data Modeling: Expert-level ability to handle large datasets and complex DAX.
Requirements Gathering: Proven experience translating business needs into technical wireframes.
Data Interpretation: Ability to identify patterns, root causes, and clusters within raw data.
Technical Documentation: Experience creating data dictionaries and training manuals.
