Role: Senior Scrum Master (Data Platform)

Job Summary.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across multiple data-focused teams. The role requires strong expertise in managing Scrum teams within data platform and operations environments. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in scaling Agile practices and driving high-performing teams in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities.
Agile Leadership.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Drive Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles. Coordinate Agile Release Trains in a SAFe environment.
Team Management.
Manage and support three to four Scrum teams simultaneously. Enable teams to deliver high-quality results within defined timelines. Remove impediments and proactively address risks and blockers.
Collaboration and Communication.
Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Ensure alignment between business goals and delivery teams. Provide clear communication and reporting on team progress.
Process Improvement.
Establish and improve sprint cadences, Agile frameworks, and team processes. Support the centralization and standardization of Scrum Master practices across the organization.
Tracking and Reporting.
Track team performance using Agile metrics and tools. Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders using tools such as Jira.
Key Deliverables.
Efficient and high-performing Scrum teams. Successful Agile delivery across multiple teams. Improved Agile processes and frameworks. Transparent reporting and stakeholder alignment.
Required Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience.
Seven plus years of experience as a Scrum Master. Three plus years of experience working with data platforms and operations teams. Proven experience managing multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.
Technical and Functional Skills.
Strong hands-on experience with SAFe framework certification is required. Experience with Kanban methodology is required. Strong experience using Jira is required. Experience in setting up Agile frameworks, sprint cadence, and delivery processes.
Soft Skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving ability and leadership mindset.
Preferred Qualifications.
Experience working in large enterprise Agile environments. Experience in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams. Prior experience in data-driven organizations is a plus.
