Description
We are seeking a Configuration Technician to support device preparation and deployment efforts within a technology operations center. This role involves following detailed written instructions to pre-configure IT equipment, perform basic kitting, unbox and re-box hardware, complete quality checks, and prepare devices for shipment. Technicians will clean, test, and validate equipment functionality, document work accurately, and escalate issues when needed. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple low-complexity tasks, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Candidates should be comfortable working with Windows devices, basic hardware peripherals, and troubleshooting simple technical issues. Reliable communication skills, the ability to follow structured processes, and a strong work ethic are essential. The Configuration Center Technician Associate position involves lifting (up to 60 lbs.), carrying, standing, bending, transporting IT equipment 50% of the time. The position also involves the occasional use of basic tools (screwdriver), cleaning solutions, tear down and rebuild of IT components. Finally, the ability to type, work from a computer monitor, communication (written and verbal) and read basic work instructions are a requirements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
