Summary

Job Title: Audit Technician (Network / Data Center)

Location: New Albany (Columbus), OH
Duration: 5-6 months (potential for extension/convert)
Pay: Competitive (based on experience)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM (overtime during site turn-ups)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Audit Technician to support network validation, infrastructure auditing, and troubleshooting within data center environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate documentation, circuit mapping, and overall operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret Engineering Design Packages (EDPs)
  • Perform network audits, validation, and infrastructure verification
  • Create and maintain circuit maps and network diagrams
  • Trace circuits end-to-end to confirm accuracy
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and configuration issues (Layer 1-3)
  • Validate inventory, documentation, and network assets
  • Document findings and deliver clear audit reports
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of EDPs and technical documentation

  • Ability to interpret diagrams, schematics, and layouts
  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in telecom, ISP, or data center environments
  • Familiarity with fiber/copper infrastructure
  • OSHA 10
  • CCNA or CompTIA Network+

Travel & Perks

  • Project located in New Albany, OH (1 Community Circle)
  • Travel roles available with housing provided (Airbnb or hotel)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
