Job Title: SAP BDC Developer / Architect (SAP Datasphere + SAC + BW)
Location: Remote initially | Must relocate to Baton Rouge, LA within 1 month (as required)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP BDC Developer/Architect with a strong background in SAP Reporting and Analytics. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience across SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, SAP SAC, and SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics with Fiori.
Experience with SAP Databricks (training/certification acceptable) is a plus.
Required Experience:
10+ years of experience in SAP Reporting & Analytics
1 2 end-to-end implementations in SAP Datasphere
3 4 projects in SAP BW
2 3 projects in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
3 4 projects in SAP S/4 Embedded Analytics with Fiori
Strong SQL skills preferred
Experience coordinating with offshore teams and QA
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
SAP Datasphere:
Strong data modeling experience (Master Data, Transactional Data, Facts, Analytical Models)
Hands-on building dimensions, hierarchies, fact and analytical models
Experience with data ingestion (Remote tables, Replication flows, Pipelines, Task chains)
Advanced modeling (Projections, Filters, Aggregations, Calculated/Restricted measures, Exception aggregation)
Exposure to Python scripting within Datasphere is a plus
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):
Story creation and dashboard development
Experience with Live vs Acquired data connections
Building widgets, charts, filters, and input controls
Hands-on with advanced features like Geo Maps
SAP BW:
Strong understanding of BW data modeling (Master/Transactional data, KPIs, Aggregations)
Data extraction, delta mechanisms, and load monitoring
Performance tuning and optimization
Front-end vs backend KPI design
SAP S/4 Embedded Analytics & Fiori:
Experience with ABAP CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption)
Development and integration with SAP Fiori
Building Fiori tiles, Smart KPIs, and analytical apps
SQL (Preferred):
Strong knowledge of joins, aggregations, and performance tuning
Additional Info:
Travel: As per project demand
Must be open to relocation within 1 month when required
Nice to Have:
Exposure to SAP Databricks (certification/training acceptable)
