Location: Salisbury, North Carolina (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Architect to design the overall enterprise system blueprint, ensuring modules and cloud components integrate securely. This role involves interacting with the business to understand requirements, evaluating existing solutions, and providing an end-to-end perspective. The ideal candidate will be confident, well-organized, and capable of guiding a team while conducting research and development to complete specifications. This position will be part of the GROUP platform, focusing on finance and contributing to the finance strategy roadmap across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Implement and enhance S/4HANA Finance innovations, such as Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, Fiori Apps, and Embedded Analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
- Lead multiple SAP implementations with a focus on S4/HANA or substantial ECC environments.
- Provide Level 3 application support for finance modules, including monitoring system performance and delivering enhancements.
- Support integrations with banking platforms, treasury systems, tax engines, and third-party financial applications.
- Support go-live activities, hyper-care, and post-production support.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
- Minimum of two full lifecycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Functional expertise in SAP Finance, particularly Core Finance (GL, AR, AP, FA) and Project Systems.
- Hands-on S/4HANA experience, including Fiori apps and Analysis for Office.
- Experience with interfaces, IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and basic debugging.
- Experience with multi-company code and multi-currency environments.
- Proficiency in functional and integration testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the retail industry is preferred.
