Summary

The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of customer projects and internal initiatives. This role coordinates project activities, maintains documentation, supports communication among project managers, technical teams, customers, and stakeholders, and helps ensure project information is accurate, organized, and accessible. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting Project Managers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate project meetings, agendas, materials, notes, decisions, action items, and follow-up activities.
  • Track project deliverables, milestones, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, approved changes, and action items.
  • Support project planning, implementation, reporting, dashboard updates, customer communications, and closeout activities.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure project information is accessible to appropriate team members and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, customers, and stakeholders regarding project status, deliverables, dependencies, and issues.
  • Support Agile activities, including backlog tracking, sprint planning support, progress tracking, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Use AI-assisted productivity tools responsibly to support meeting summaries, action-item lists, reports, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative, reporting, and coordination activities through technology and process improvement.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to mulitple projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Project coordination, project support, administrative support, customer support, operations, or related experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while working independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, with the ability to learn new collaboration and productivity tools.
  • Ability to protect confidential information and validate AI-assisted outputs before use.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate''''s or Bachelor''''s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications, military experience, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience supporting IT, cybersecurity, compliance, business transformation, or technology-focused initiatives.
  • Experience using project management or collaboration tools.
  • Project management certifications such as CompTIA Project+, CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar credentials.
  • Experience working within Agile, hybrid, or traditional project environments.
  • Knowledge of FedRAMP, FedRAMP 20x, DoW CCSRG
