Integration Functional Consultant

The Integration Functional Consultant role involves designing and implementing integration scenarios to support specific business processes. This role is critical in ensuring seamless integration across various systems and applications, leveraging the capabilities of the SAP Integration Suite.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

1.Integration Design and Development:

• The consultant is responsible for designing integration content, such as integration flows, either from scratch or by enhancing predefined content identified during the discovery phase 
• They assess predefined integration content available in the SAP Integration Suite catalog to determine its suitability for the project requirements 

2.Integration Assessment:

• The consultant participates in the integration assessment process, which involves creating business solution requests and interface requests. This task is typically performed by business domain experts .
• They may also be involved in filling out questionnaires, determining application profiles, and specifying integration guidelines and best practices 

3.Integration Technology and Compliance:

• The consultant ensures the integration of product compliance functions into various business processes and understands how select middleware can be added to already existing integration in support of an interoperable framework.
• The Consultant should be well versed using the BTP Integration Suite, familiar with SAP PO/PI and the various integration patterns that can be leveraged.

4.Functional and technical roles:

• The consultant may be involved in defining and configuring user roles.

Integration Aspects:

The Integration Functional Consultant leverages the SAP Integration Suite to facilitate the following:

Integration of additional middleware e.g. SAP PO/PI on top of PLMSI with the objective to support the customer''''s interoperability framework. Ensures seamless integration between the various platforms. Integration knowledge and or some functional knowledge of PLM systems and how they integrate with S/4HANA would be beneficial.
