Job Title: Engineer 2
Location: Vancouver, WA
Client:American federal agency
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Pay Rate: $52/hr on w2
Number of Days Onsite: 1 - 2 days per Week
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Corresponding Experience (required on matrix):
· Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited college/university in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering is required.
· 5+ years of engineering experience is required.
· 2+ years of engineering experience in transmission line design & analysis, or construction is required.
Required Technical Skills & Experience (required on matrix):
· 2+ years’ experience with the following:
o Experience using PLS-CADD, sufficient to perform electrical clearance analysis of transmission line using PLS-CADD/LiDAR models.
· Must have solid knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, stress analysis, and AC/DC electrical circuits to perform and interpret results of automated calculations and analyses.
· Must have solid knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to components and facilities found on a regional transmission system.
· Must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, and reverse engineer data involving the catenary and electrical clearance analyses.
